Claire Engelken

Claire Engelken is an undergraduate academic advisor for Biology and Exercise Science majors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Kansas. Prior to becoming an advisor, Claire taught English in South Korea and owned two retail stores in downtown Lawrence.

As a second-generation Jayhawk, Claire is excited to return to campus and to help students meet their unique goals. In her free time, Claire enjoys traveling, watching KU sports, and tending to her many indoor plants.
